Along the Picket Fence

I never seem to take enough photos of this area.  It looked so pretty today with the clear blue sky.  I can’t wait till my climbing roses cover this arbor… Enjoy!!

This is the entrance to the rose garden, located just outside our walk-out basement area.

I have always dreamed of a picket fence.  But we have almost 7 acres of land, so this little mini fenced garden is perfect.

This is it’s 3rd year and it is filling in nicely.   It’s planted with several roses, lilacs, hydrangeas and tons of perennials.

I can see this area from several rooms in the house.  So I can’t wait till it is covered by climbing roses in a few weeks!

The little blue groundcover is Lithodora… it blooms a beautiful  blue in early spring and it evergreen here in Indiana.
